Kakegurui (Kari) is an anime adaptation of the manga series written by Homura Kawamoto and illustrated by Kei Saiki. The story takes place at Hyakkaou Private Academy, an elite school where the social hierarchy is determined by high-stakes gambling. The series follows Yumeko Jabami, a transfer student who becomes involved in the school’s intense gambling matches. The title is also known simply as Kakegurui.
