Volume 1 introduces Ruu, a girl who receives the WIXOSS card game from her brother. She soon meets her “LRIG,” a girl named Tama who exists only within the game. Tama informs Ruu that she has become a “Selector,” a girl who can fight with other Selectors to have a single wish granted.
