This update introduces the “Trial of the Penitent King,” a new story chapter that expands upon the lore of the Ashen Cathedral. Players will also gain access to the Martyr’s Bastion shield, a new weapon type, and the Chalice of Remembrance relic. Several balance adjustments have been made to enemy stagger rates and spell casting speeds. Please refer to the in-game patch notes for a full list of fixes.
