We Were There is a Japanese romance manga by Yuki Obata. Serialized in Shōgakukan’s Bessatsu Shōjo Comic (2002–2012), it spans 23 volumes. The story follows Nanami Takahashi and her relationship with Yano Motoharu, exploring themes of adolescence, memory, and communication. It received a live-action film adaptation in 2010. An English release is available from VIZ Media under the Shojo Beat imprint.
